As you know the Lord Shiva has a great palace in hindu. Lord Shiva has many temples but it is amazing to see these temples in their faith as which is in top ten list. So i am blogging TOP TEN TEMPLES OF LORD SHIVA.These are amazing palace with pictures on the occasion of Shivaratri.
1- Kailash Mansarover:-Kailash Manas Sarovar. Mount Kailash is one of the world’s most sacred spots. Kailash Mansarover is very holy and the hardest to reach the palace of lord shiva where only who reaches the only Shiva call.To reach there you need to cross three countries and pass to many cultures. To experience its spiritual energy you must go there but with the right intention in mind. This is a pilgrimage and the intent should be to visit it for peace, both within each person and then the world. Tibetans leave an article of clothing or a drop of blood, hair or a stone to symbolize leaving their prejudices behind them. One should leave their ego, anxiety and meanness here.
2-Amarnath:-Lakhs of devotees come in amarnath & see the natural ice lingam of lord shiv. There are two pigons there what is belief that they have heard 'THE AMAR KATHA' from lord shiv & they are AMAR.
It's a very holy yatra for hindus & every devotee want to perform this yatra once in a life.But it's not as easy to go to amarnath yatra as it sounds. The devotee who can put their life on hands can perform the yatra
3- Kashi Viswanath:- As Puran says Kashi Vishwanath Baba is divided in to 3 parts of Trishul [1]Kedareshwar [2] Vishweshwar [3] MahaMritunjay.According to puran the person who stays at the end of his life time gets moksha.Kashi Vishwanath gives tarak mantra to get moksha. People who live in kashi get Aarth, Dharma, Karma, Moksha.TheTemple is also known as the GoldenTemple, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the city.This is the holiest spot in the city.
More than the Ghats and even the Ganga, the Shivalinga installed in the temple remains the devotional focus of Varanasi. Varanasi is said to be the point at which the first jyotirlinga, the fiery pillar of light by which Shiva manifested his supremacy over other gods, broke through the earth’s crust and flared towards the heavens.
The original temple was destroyed by aurangzeb who built a mosque in its place, but the traces of the old temple can be seen behind the mosque.The present temple was built by Maharani Ahilya Bai of Indore in the year 1776 and the gold plating on the towers of the temple was provided by Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Indore.
To the side of the temple is Gyan-Kupor('The well of Knowledge'). It is believed that the Shiva Lingam removed from the original temple was hidden in this well to protect it from Aurangazeb and it still lies there. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple.
4-Rameshwaram:- Rameshwaram is located in South India in Tamilnadu. The belief is Lord Rama worship lord Shiva there when he was going to Lanka. It is among 4 Holy palaces of hindus which are also called Dhams which are as follows.

5- Pashupati Nath ji:- Pashupati nathji is in Kathmandu( The city of Temples),Nepal.
6- Katasraj Temple in PAKISTAN:-Katasraj temple is a Hindu temple situated in the Chakwal district of Punjab in Pakistan. Dedicated to Shiva, the temple has existed since the days of Mahabharata and the Pandava brothers spent a substantial part of their exile at the site. Before Independence it was very holy for hindus but because the temple is in pakistan it is very hard to reach & worship there. Also the temple is in very bad condition as pakistan government doesn't pay any attention at all to repair some building.
7-Mahaklaser Temple in Ujjain:Once there lived a Brahman who had four sons, who were all devotees of Siva. The wicked demon king Dushan came to Avantika after attaining a boon from Lord Branhma and started torturing the erudite Brahmanas of Avantika. But the Brahmanas who were very engrossed in their worship of Shiva did not even flinch.
The demon king sent all four of his henchmen with the orders that they have to ensure that no Vedic Dharmanushtan activities are to take place. The harassed people came running to the Brahmans seeking help. The Brahmanas assured the people and pacified them. They immediately started praying to Lord Shiva. Meanwhile, just as the Demon king tried to attack the Brahmanas, the earth would split open near the Parthiv Murty with a loud noise and huge crater would form there. In this manner, Siva assumed the colossal form of Mahakal and appeared. He ordered the wicked Demon from going anywhere near the Brahmanas. But the wicked Demon king did not pay heed. As a result, Siva burnt him to ashes with just one grunt. Seeing Lord Siva in this Avatar, Brahma, Vishnu and Indra and other Devas came down and prayed to the Lord and pleased Him
