(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of section 94 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Service Tax Rules, 1994, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Service Tax (Third Amendment) Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of May, 2011. 2. In rule 6 of the Service Tax Rules, 1994, for sub-rule (7A), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely,

NEW FILE VALIDATION UTILITY 3.2 FOR TDS STATEMENT

New FVU 3.2 is launched by tin.nsdl. the features of this fvu are as follows.

·         FVU 3.2 will be applicable for quarterly TDS/TCS statements pertaining to FY 2010-11 onwards and will be mandatory w.e.f April 01, 2011.

·         Mandatory to quote Mobile No. in quarterly TDS/TCS statements for deductor category other than Central govt. and State Govt.

·         Provision to quote the deduction under section 80CCF in salary details (applicable for 24Q Q4).

HOW TO COMPLAINT OF STATE BANK OF INDIA

We often face the problems in the banks in India and mostly to the nationalized banks. There is a quote in India that the government employees don’t work. Yesterday I went to State bank of India for getting a statement of my current account, and with no rush whatsoever, they took 2 hours to give me the statement, and even more when I ask them rashly that will you give me the statement or not, then only a worm reptiles on their ears. I think many of us the same types of problems with the banks. What we can do?

The reply is simple either complaint them in the drop box with a letter and pen or write an email to the concerned authorities. But now when I found I got an interesting solution.

State bank of India which is the biggest bank in India having 130 million strong customer base has launched a SMS facility. If you are unhappy with the banking officials or the way, you need to send only a sms and your problem will be resolved in 48 hours, said a senior official of State Bank of India.
