Today write an email is a necessity and almost 50% of India need to write email in any need what so ever. But in this requirement people doesn't know what is the proper form to write an email.This is called E- mail etiquette. Here are the some golden rules to write an email, which are also called e-mail etiquette.
1- INDENT:-The mail should be written in left indent format, an American style which is followed by everyone.
2-Recipients:-If you are sending a mail to more than one person it's advisable to keep other recipients in BCC instead of TO.
3-Subject:-The subject should be as it would suit to the entire person you are sending the mail. Like don't use these words GOOD MORNING GOOD AFTERNOON OR GOOD NIGHT as you don't know when the person read the mail.
4-Font style, Font size: Most preferred font style and size is ‘Verdana 10 pt’. If you wish to have give a color, it should not be anything else than black, blue.
5-Spell check:-Do spell check after writing the mail. It a must for email coz it's leave a good impression on whom read the mail.
6-Reply:-If possible don't use reply to all function.
7-Length:-Length should be less not more than 4-5 lines in a paragraph.
